COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear amber, small white head. Malty aroma, light hints of nondescript spice. Malty flavour, sourish like rye bread, some bitter hops. Some orange in the finish but no cloves. Slightly watery and metallic.

Copenhagen 21/12 2016. 60 cl bottle from Rema 1000. Red label with what looks like a Municipal sign in front of the Town Hall. Pours clear amber with small white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is sourish and slightly metallic. Sweet notes in the background together with something spicy. Might be the cloves. Alcohol. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is medium sweet followed by strong sourness. Spicy and slightly boozy aftertaste. Kinda harsh and boozy experience.

Borring beer. I sence the caramel and the christmas flavour, but would rather drink a cold pilsener.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! The beer starts malty and smooth. Easy to drink with a nice caramel flavour in the background, very easy to drink with a dry roasted aftertaste. Not much sweetness there, the bitterness is low. Hints of dry roasted wood. Very nice and dry malty smooth stuff. In the aftertaste are hints of hazelnuts, roasted barley and nice earthy hops.

600 ml bottle, sampled at Den gamle by in Århus. Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Not very strong in aroma, malt, bread, some dry fruit and slightly spicy/fruity. Flavor is medium sweet malt, caramel, bread, light dry fruit, a hint of oranges and spices, low bitterness. Fine balanced body and short in aftertaste. Drinkable but rather boring, almost like just another pale ale with caramel and some spices type Christmas beer.
