COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Klosterbryg er brygget på pilsnermalt, hvedemalt og karamelmalt. Det er krydret med tre forskellige typer af aromahumle, som matcher maltene. Dette er en øl med 6% alkohol, som er i stil med India Pale Ale.

Hazy blond color. It has a nice fat aroma of cereals, sweetish. Also the flavor has some cereals, but less interesting. Good bitterness level, you can feel the hop oils till the end.

2008-02-05, draught at Ris-Ras, Århus, 5-3-5-3-10=26
Hazy blond color. As Ale it’s quite simple, and both aroma and flavor strangely show signs of ageing, some skunkiness (very light), maybe cork (?). There is a very light fruitness and strong bitterness. To be tried again…

KimJohansen (10510) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - FEB 3, 2008
Hazy amber with medium off white head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity with caramel notes. Same goes for the flavor.

jhagmar (114) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - JAN 6, 2008

ekstedt (6929) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 4, 2008
Bottle (50 cl), thanks jhagmar. Hazy golden, medium withe head. Weak fruity aroma with apricots and peaches. Spritzy mouthfeel, good balance with a dry and acidic fibish.

JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - NOV 7, 2007
(on bottle) Rabling on with the odd naming; Klosterbryg?(Monastery Brew). The monks must have been taking a day off and a strange persons entered the brewhouse. Pale all over, not at all interesting, may brewhouses like this be haunted by the gost of Out-of-the-beer-making-industry.

2.5
tarjei (1954) - Bryne, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2007
60 cl bottle. Golden color, disappering white head. Sweet citric, fruit, malt, dry finish. A bit too watery.

3.1
Doppelganger (1388) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - SEP 15, 2007
From the conditioning tank at the Aarhus Bryghus. Cloudy yellow/orange, just a few off-white bubbles. Fresh candy hops, just a little ash. Lemony malt, soft bitterness, a little lingering orange pith.
