yngwie (17173) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle, 60cl. A clear one, dark amber to light brown in color and with a small, off-white head. Roasted, lightly coffeeish aroma with some cooked vegetables and a touch of something herbal. A bit thin on the palate, with coffee notes and roasted malts. Medium body, dry. Lightly metallic in the else roasted finish. Well, it’s a brown ale, they’re almost supposed to be a bit dull, and this certainly lives up to that dullness. 111112

Bottle. Pours brown/amber with small white head. Aroma is malt, caramel with hints of apple. Taste is dominated by sweetness but also with hints of bitterness. It has a bit too much carbonation for an ale, but the palate is pleasant and filling anyway.

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2011
bottle, vin-og-gaver.dk. Malt and toffee aroma, leading into a rich, fairly heavy tasting beer. Strangely enough, there’s some dry bark right at the back of the throat. It thins out a bit, once the initial oimpressions are out of the way, yet leaves a reasonable coating on the tongue. Dry leaves and a bit of tobacco come in midway, but it doesn’t develop much beyond that, although the finish can be quite chocolatey.

Christian (13771) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 15, 2011
Amber with a small off-white head. Dusty malt aroma with a touch of caramel. Sweet malty flavour
