On tap. Amber colour with a nice light beige head. Aroma and taste of caramel, cascade and a bit sweet fruit. A bit too much duration I think, but at the end of the day: A nice BA.

Medium offwhite head. Clear deep dark brown body. Roasty spicy syrupy aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweet resiny roasty caramelly taste with earthy toffee notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry resiny earthy toffee aftertaste with roasty spicy notes. Nice, drinkable, maybe a bit sweet. (0.6l bottle, Salling, Århus.)

3.2
bartlebier (4108) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2014
66cl bottle bb05/2015, Craft Beer Store HH. Luminous bourdeaux-brown pour, fresh white cap. More subdued citrus zest than brown maltiness in aroma, taste had delicate toasty ESB malts, cola, with a distinct fruity English ale yeast character coming through before the gentle dose of orange peel hops make a cameo appearance again. A bit thin and unpresuming, but a fine meal accompanier (label indicates oven roasts, perfect match), true to style and harshly rated underneath imho.

3.1
