Pours golden yellow in the glass, with high, fine durable head. It smells sweet-malty, pleasantly hoppy, slightly grassy. Starts very grassy, with a lot of grain and hay, subtly hoppy-bitter in the background. The middle part is malty and spicy, subtly bitter, grainy and very hoppy. Goes into a bitter hoppy finish with a subtle musty maltiness and a lot of grain!
Can:   Bright straw, clear, light carbonation, soft white foamy head, little lacing.   Soft grassy nose, minor hay.   Not dusty, not bright.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   A little fizzy on the tongue.   Semi-sweet grassy finish.   Simple, like most Norwegian beers, clean, but uneventful. bvc (1242) - Washington, USA - MAR 7, 2013

CH-303 (2200) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JAN 3, 2013
Appearance: Very light golden, clear. Little bit of off-white head.
Aroma: Some hops and malt, quite light.
Taste: Quite smooth hops and malt. Nothing exciting, though.

From bottle in Bergen. Clear golden color, with some particles. Pleasant hint of esters, not so pleasant hint of metal. Almost good - but not quite.
