Tried it on can and on cask in Hemsedal, Norway.larsga (7508) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 5, 2006
Golden color and a white head. Very fresh hoppy scent, much to my surprise. The taste came as the scent did, very hoppy compared to my expectations. Even though the name indeed sounds funny in the English language, it’s a nice well made beer. Easy to drink and enjoyable. After getting a bit drunk on the Viking party it was of course amazingly funny to shout "Nice Aass" and drink all night long...
Big head of fine lace, pale copper body with some ongoing carbonation.
Nice aroma of pine-like hops, with notes of metal and grain. Crisp,
clean taste of caramel malts; soft aftertaste of pine-like hops. Not
that much taste to this one, but what there is is very clean and nice;
for a Norwegian lager this is pretty good. joebrew (608) - Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA - SEP 14, 2007
Thanks to Akevitt for sharing. Pours a bright golden, with a huge white head. Nice grainy sweet biscuity malt on the nose. Actually very tasty with a good dose of citrus and grainy biscuity malt. Better than the score shows. omhper (24963) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 14, 2002

Heldere citroengele kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt mout, beetje muf. Smaakt fruitig, citrus hop. Furseth (2159) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2006
UPDATED: MAR 13, 2007 Can. Golden yellow colour, whit a white creamy foam.
Aroma of nice bitter hops from Saaz, and a god maltyness, but it ends there. Short bitter finish, light body.A beer for a hot summerday, but that´s all. Aass is maiking better beer than this one. cgarvieuk (24166) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 31, 2007
Can at home ... Thanks Knut ...Nice clean golden yellow... Grassy with some lagery malt ... sweet light malty lager with touch of metalicness. But actually quite drinkable, which suprised me. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2007
Thanks to akevitt for sharing. Grainy nose and light honey color. Faint head. A little bitter hop on the finish. CH-303 (2197) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JAN 3, 2013
Appearance: Very light golden, clear. Little bit of off-white head.
Aroma: Some hops and malt, quite light.
Taste: Quite smooth hops and malt. Nothing exciting, though.
