Clear copper of color with a nice beige head. An aroma of malt, bread, caramel and butter. A flavor of hops, butter, caramel and bread. Palme (4812) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 7, 2011
0.5l can. Pours a orange amber body with a thin lacing head. Aroma is slightly sweet malts with notes of flowers. Lively carbonated and light bodied. Taste is slightly grassy hops, malt and mild with a slightly acidic and fruity finish. Think the main words to say on this is slightly and mildly. Not that bad actually, but in my opinion no "gourmet"-beer. abstractbeer (242) - NORWAY - FEB 5, 2011
Pours an amber brew. Sweet nose. Taste is on the sweet side, too. Nice peachy, raisin aroma, with some caramely malt and a bit of licorice in the aftertaste. Strangely it reminds me of a christmas beer, but less sweet and roasted. Tasty for a norwegian grocery store macrobrew! Aass is by far my favorite norwegian macrobrewery, mainly because they have the guts to make beers with taste - they even dare to put enough hops in their beer so the hop aroma (or "weird taste" as the Average Joe here would describe it) comes through! gunnar (9324) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2011
Can at home. Pours clear copper with a huge creamy off-white head. Spicy dark caramel aroma, some rye bread as well.Taste is more on the nutty malty side, medium sweet caramel. Not too sweet, rather neutral and well balanced brew. Slightly watery mouthfeel. Good beer.

A nice not-so-pale amber colour, with a agressive , off-white head.
Aroma; Some malt caracter with some toast, good fruityness and alittle caramel in the back aswell.
Flavours; Very fruity, red berries, the toast aroma in the mouth. It´s alittle sweet, but refreshing and good, finishing with some yeastnotes (grass/herbs?). Not a very big body.
Summary; The aroma/flavour profile is really good, but I wish it had a bigger body to support it!

[ Trade by yngwie ]. Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain - caramel, light hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
Served ice cold (wtf) at some restaurant at cc vest, oslo. Waiter said it was not the "gourmet series can" but it later showed to be just that.
Looked like 50/50 cola/water and tasted about the same, due to the temperature. Ice cubes and a straw were the only things missing.
After about 30 minutes the temperature was a bit better and the taste started to show, it was kind of alright, but at that time the beer was all flat and we had finished our meal and had to leave.

Bottle @ Southern/Western Denmark Tasting, Ulfborg. Pours clear copper with a small white head and lacings. Nose is hops and malts. Grassy and fruity. Some caramel. Medium bodied. MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2010
Can, 4.7%. Very weak caramelly aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Small stable frothy tan head. The flavour is OK refreshing. Has a little butter, but more importantly some refreshing hop, mostly grassy.
