Sweet, caramel aroma. Clean, crisp taste, and an almost dry aftertaste. Interesting and complex. Very flavorful with strong malt presence.

50 cl alu-can abv 4.7 from Eurospar supermarket, available many places. Caramel-white head that stands a while and leaves a layer on a caramel brown body. Scents of sweet malts, a tiny caramel, a little meadow, sweet grass. Tastes malts, sour grass, almonds, tiny chocolate, a bit of butter. Mouthfeel alright, carbonation not too weak, a little metallic. Aftertaste; roasted malts, dark syrupy bread, some butter. Overall not spicy enough for Christmas, but okay as an amber vienna, and assumably a good pal to salty dinners.

DWG; Pours dark amber with fast fading creamy off-white head. Nose is sweet malty caramell with notes of spice. Taste much the same with watery palate and short bitter finish. Merry Christmas.

snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - JAN 12, 2013
Tasted from the bottle, on 12/01/2013. Pours of amazing ruby brown, with a healthy foam, which has an ok retention. Aroma is of candy sugar, spices, mostly cloves and coriander, with faint honey notes in the end. Taste is overly sweet, honey character dominates, topped with different spices. Aftertaste is a bit tart. Worth to try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml with [email protected], 28.Dec.2012 Red-brown body with tiny head. Sweet prunes, caramel, dates nose. Sweet, but balanced. A bit better in itself than Mack Juleøl, but Mack was better with pinnekjøtt.
