(Bottle, Lorry, Oslo, 5 Nov 2009. 4.7%) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, toasty malt, red berries and hints of spicy hops. Malty taste with notes of caramel, red berries, dark fruit and slightly spicy hops in the finish. Some initial malt sweetness, dries out towards the end. Fairly thin but rather tasty. chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 26, 2009
Can (courtesy KnutAlbert I think), May 2008. 4.7% according to my notes. Copper colour. Chocolate malt aroma. Some cardboard notes. Relatively dry. Rather thin mouthfeel. Not entirely unpleasant but nothing special.

330 ml bottle (2008 4,7%). Clear, dark amber body with a big, foamy beige head. Aroma is light roasted malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet, slightly roasted malt, caramel and a balanced bitterness. Quite light and a short aftertaste, but definitively tasty and nice balanced. This is the best Norwegian wannabe Christmas beer. RuneStumo (2696) - Haugesund, NORWAY - DEC 12, 2008
12.12.2008, 0,33l Bottle. Dark brown colour with light brown head. There is a fizzeling carbonation-sound. The aroma is malty with a little sharp taste of carbonation. Not as sweet as i expected. There is also some bitterness. I also think it tastes more like burned than roasted. espenra (1017) - Kurland, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2008
33cl bottle at Frognerseteren restaurant. It poured a red-brown colour with a small beige head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is sweet, tempting and smells of malts, yeast and raisins. The flavour is bittersweet and tastes of coffee and roasted malts. It has a short aftertaste. It is a decent christmas beer, but nothing outstanding. fonefan (50733) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2008
