(5oo ml Can) Deep copper body and a medium, almond head. Nose of toffee. Flavours of sweet malt, pine needles, cinnamon and tinny. A thin, dry malted finish!

0.33l bottle from Meny. Pours a nice dark brown-red body with a quite thin quickly disappearing head. Nose is fresh fruits and burned malts - otherwise quite anonymous. Tastes quite blend. Some malt, thin caramel and week leather hints. Finishes off with a small bitter ending. All in all; Quite boring. (could have sworn the alcohol percentage was 4,7 - not 4,5 but that’s another story)

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2006
Bottle. 2006 Christmas seasonal. Dark brown/amber, medium beige head. Surprisingly faint aroma, some flowery hops and notes of apples. Taste is dry malts, candysuger with a light hopbitterness. Watery palate. Short slight sweet finish.

50 cl alu-can abv 4.7 from Eurospar supermarket, available many places. Caramel-white head that stands a while and leaves a layer on a caramel brown body. Scents of sweet malts, a tiny caramel, a little meadow, sweet grass. Tastes malts, sour grass, almonds, tiny chocolate, a bit of butter. Mouthfeel alright, carbonation not too weak, a little metallic. Aftertaste; roasted malts, dark syrupy bread, some butter. Overall not spicy enough for Christmas, but okay as an amber vienna, and assumably a good pal to salty dinners.

Let’s start by saying this bottle is probably a few years old. I wonder if it is still made. Poured a murky brown color. Aroma of lightly skunked malt at the start. As the beer warmed this became replaced by creamy chocolate drink (almost like yahoo), very light spice, and aged malt. Flavor is thin and old like a watered down cold hot cocoa. There is a touch of spice on the finish. This beer was definitely on its last legs.

nilsas (4130) - Bryne, NORWAY - NOV 3, 2013
Duft av humle, honning og rosin. Fin gyllen mørk nøttefarge. Lite skum. Fin smak av honning, rosin og krydder.

BillKismet (4064) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 4, 2002
Amber with a thick creamy head and a delicate, but nice malt smell. The flavor was of malt and carmel. A well-balanced, highly drinkable, good tasting vienna.
