Tasted from the bottle, on 12/01/2013.
Pours of amazing ruby brown, with a healthy foam, which has an ok retention.
Aroma is of candy sugar, spices, mostly cloves and coriander, with faint honey notes in the end.
Taste is overly sweet, honey character dominates, topped with different spices.
Aftertaste is a bit tart.
Worth to try.

Labelled as Christmas beer because Vienna-lagers are the traditional Christmas style in Scandinavia. This is one of the better examples, with a reasonably complex character. ravidesai (978) - Bombay, INDIA - DEC 1, 2001
oK I’ll admit i bought this because of the name
A strong vienna lager
with some spices added.
quite sweet and malty. Gusler (2653) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 25, 2002
Pours a deep garnet, the head is generous and beige, the lace is decent. Nose is light toasted grains, a hint of caramel. The start is sweet, the top is light, the finish is dry, lightly carbonated, the hops are light, but a fair to middlin beer at any rate. Ranks #759 on my master beer list. Sweet malt aroma, roasty malt flavor, average Vienna.

Pours a dark brown color with little head. Sweet and malty, with notes of bread, biscuits, and cookie dough. Also a hint of fruity sweetness at the top. A good beer, but I’ve had better Christmas beers. Swarzbeer (43) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JAN 6, 2007
Bottle, brown, bodied, barley taste, harmonic beer, roasted caramel, good beer Skyview (5942) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - DEC 20, 2007
Yes Virginia, Christmas does come in a can, especially a 12-oz can when shared by akevitt. Pours a clear dark amber brew with a creamy off-white head that has some spotty lacing and a slow dissipation. Aroma of slightly roasted caramel malt, some flowery hops, some slight raisin, and wheat bread. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with a slight metallic texture with flavors of caramel malt and some mild bitterness. Finish is slight metallic with a mild bitter and caramel aftertaste. badgerben (5123) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - DEC 20, 2007
Thanks to Akevitt for sharing this one. Dark copper color with a thin head. Slightly grainy aroma. The taste manages to be both sweet and bitter grains. A very small pinch of cinnamon. JK (6095) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2007
A rare beer from Akevitt. Moderate sweet malt and some spice. Clearly a lager, but I wasn’t sure it was a Vienna. Dry finish, but there is some sweetness in the flavor. Not bad for cheap beer from a can.
