The malted barley is a pilsner malt produced in the Scandinavian countries. We use the very best of hops known under the names of Saazer and Hallertau, and the liquid is pure Norwegian mountain water.

Version brewed for the export market contains 5.5% ABV.

Oh my, now Im really disappointed. I have been told that this is supposed to be one of the few decent Norwegian macro lagers, but I couldnt disagree more. The strange thing is that initially I thought the aroma was quite ok. After smelling the beer a few times I realised that I had been tricked by my preconceptions: this really doesnt smell very nice. Sweet malts and some hops, but also sugary cornflakes and cooked vegetables. Yikes. The taste is better, a sweet taste with a nice medium bitter finish. However, the bitter finish is accompanied by a harsh tin can flavour that more or less ruins this brew. The body is clear, pale and sparkling. Fluffy white head that soon reduces to a thin film that leaves plenty of lacing. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Nah.

0.33l can. Pours a clear pale golden body with a decent creamy white head. Aroma is hopy with hint of citrus and malts. Actually not that bad for its kind. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily and has a soft to average carbonation. Nice and hopy flavors with medium bitterness and a hint of honey but not to sweet. Watery finish but there is a nice hopy aftertaste (could it be saaz?) Also has a thin lemony-sourness in the end that makes this a bit more interesting - not exciting, but interesting. Probably one of the best macro pale lagers made in Norway.
