Can at home. Pours clear golden with a tall spongy white head. Fresh citrusy hop aroma. Taste is fresh crisp hops, not strong but subdued with a nice malty body to balance it. Nice and long fresh hoppy aftertaste. Better than most Norwegian industrial pilseners.

1/10 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks! 4,7% version. It poured yellow body with medium sized head. Orange aroma, somewhat grainy. Herbal bitter with fine biscuit and bread malt profile, but also unpleasant grainy. Medium body with shorter, slightly acidic and grassy finish. Fine enough, not so bad as expected, very drinkable for an ordinary pale lager. ogivlado (7839) - Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 7, 2010

Yellow coloured, small white head, grainy nose. Moderate malty, quite grainy and slight grassy with mild bitterness in the finish. Average Norwegian pils.
Poured a pale yellow-golden body with a small white head. Light dry eggy grainy nose, not too pleasant. The taste picks up and retains the two tastes, and the grain starts to dominate, it gets a bit bready too, the egg just gets light. The bitterness is light too. An average Aass pilsner.

0.5 litre box. One of my favourite Norwegian pilsners. Ok taste from a good brewery. garza (573) - Oslo (NO), Caracas (VE), VENEZUELA - SEP 3, 2010
Clear yellow colour with a frothy white head. Malty aroma with some grass. Notes of citrus and medium sourness in the taste, lightly bitter. Average carbonation, medium body. Sometimes depending of the bar is very good, sometimes is just crap. Anyways, better than average lagers in Norway. fonefan (49399) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 30, 2010

Can 500ml. @ home.
Clear light to medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, green grass, sour grass notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Pours clear pale golden with huge fluffy white head leaving some lacing on the glass. Sightly malty and hoppy aroma with notes of dry hay. Sweetish and hoppy flavor. Sweet perry like and crisp on palate. Finishes with very nice long lived hoppy aftertaste. ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 8, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2010 Pours a pale golden body with a fizzy, foamy and quickly disappearing white head. Overcooked veggies, canny metallic adjuncts and generally not very good stuff hits my nose..this could get nasty.. Taste is similar; canned dogfood, cereals, veggies...jeez...this is much worse than anticipated. Watery palate. Aass may have some good beer, but their staple - the pilsner - is a very, very far cry from anything remotely tasty. Drain pour. How this beer got its fairly decent rating (at least for a commercial lager beer) I really do not know.
