500ml can. A bit more than the average pilsner with golden color and white head. Better than most Norwegian standard commercial pilsner.

4.5% bottle swigged with Dirtman in Vigeland Sculpture Park. BREAKIN THE LAW, BREAKIN THE LAW. Appearance? Some ruddy-cheeked peasants frolicking in the straw on the label. Crisp and clean with a lingering, slightly nutty bitterness, vanilla, Weetabix and corn. Decent grassy, lemony hop- something of a surprise. Fresh and pleasant park bench refreshment, 13 NOK a bottle. You wont find a cheaper rate in Oslo, unless you steal it.

Kestral (506) - rnes, NORWAY - JUN 6, 2009
Pale yellow, 1cm bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sparse grassy and metallic hops. Flavour is much the same, good grassy hop bitterness minus the metallic notes. Some vague malt sweetness. Fizzy carbonation. Thin. One of the best macro lagers.
