Dark mahogany color; generous creamy head. Caramel aroma. Very good malt and caramel flavor, quite sweet, with strong body strength; also a touch of liquorice. Solid beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear reddish brown with an off-white head. Lovely aroma of roasted malts and dark dried fruits - some rum accents as well. Dark brown color (with reddish shine), with an off-white head.
Aroma = sweet, roasted malts, bit yeast, fruits.
Taste sweet, roasted malts, little hops, and a some spice, a warm alcoholic touch. A very regular abbey beer.

Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Clear brown to reddish beer, small aery yellow head, bit stable, little adhesive. Aroma: sweet caramel, candi sugar, raisins, dried fruits, some port, orange peel, acacia honey. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of dried fruits, raisins, caramel, some spices, liquorish, cloves, aniseed, bit of mocha. Aftertaste: caramel, somewhat hoppy, spices, star anise, some mocha, cloves, chocolate, little bitter.
Brown/red colour. Medium carbonation. Medium body. Sweet aroma with hints of dark fruit and spices. Well balanced between sweet and bitter. Good.
