Lightly scented aroma followed by a subtly bitter taste. It leaves a subtle raisin fruitiness on the palate ending with a pleasant bitter tonic when swallowing.

ogivlado (7810) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 5, 2011
Bottled 330ml. -from Brasserie Henry, Budapest.
Pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, slight spicy and metalic nose. Malty, slight yeasty and mild fruity with salty notes, but in general here’s lack of everything.

Golden, hazy beer with a weak but long living white foam. Ripe banana and a little harsh cloves in the nose. They are reflected in the mouth with a good bitter mouth feel.

Bottle. Dirty gold, large white head. Very high bead. Aroma of oranges, pears, cheese, mild honey, white pepper, juniper berries and cloves. Taste is sweet with more honey than fruit. Quite yeasty mouthfeel, with cheese and dough. Mild but complex spices are there in a fairly yeasty finish. Interesting beer that’s just a tad sweet for me.

zvikar (6172) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - FEB 28, 2011
At a tasting, thanks Dror, pours hazy light honey color with a nice white head that lives a nice lacing, flavor of honey, baked bread, pretty flat but satisfying, flavor of bread, biscuit, butter and honey, light bodied.

suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - FEB 26, 2011
Cloudy white pour with a decent head that kind of sticks around, but not for long. Smells like any type of Wit I’ve had in the past. Nothing spectacular stands out. A little clovey-ish, a little banana-ish. But barely. Hoegaareden. Did they steal the recipe? I thought my wife poured me the Hoe at first, but looked at the label and realized it’s something I’ve never tried before, or have I? Light and dry. Carbonation is a bit high leaving it feeling more dry than it might be. Little bit of an aspirin aftertaste. Not too bad, but there are other things I would rather spend my time drinking.

DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 24, 2011
Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dror. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of honey, fruits, yeast and light graininess. Sweetish fruity flavor with some honey. Light-medium-bodied.

tomer (3517) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - FEB 24, 2011
At a tasting, thanks Dror, hazy lemon yellow colour, aroma of honey, peach and lightly toasted bread, yeasty flavour with notes of honey, too sweet and thick.
