Yellow color with a solid white head. Smell fresh Hoppy. Taste of malt, slightly sweet and citrus-like. Pretty good triple for a super price.

330ml bottle from Lidl, drunk at home. Pours clear with a very brief frothy head, lacing while the head lasted, some bead. Golden straw in colour, pale for a tripel. Aromas of honeyed corn, floral hops and brown sugar. Creamy in the mouth, releasing flavours of honey, fresh bread, with a slight dessert-wine sourness underlined by high alcohol content. Mild floral bitterness, but a sugary aftertaste spoils the experience. Overall, not a bad winter sipping beer, but hardly refreshing.

0.33 l bottle. Clear golden, no head. A profoundly simple triple, not bad at all, but far from outstanding too. Decent enough for its price tho.

33cl bottle from Lidl. Golden colour and thick, long-lasting white foam describe the beer. Smell is honey, taste is burnt sugar, flower, spice, alcoholsweet notes. Nice beer with a not too high price but it won’t be my new favourite.

Lore (3107) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 30, 2017
clear golden colour, one inch dense white head; aroma and taste of grains, floral-honey notes, some apricot and some spicy alcohol; rather a tripel (as claimed by its label) than a Biére de Garde, but anyway, it’s quite enjoyable (especially considering its price)

inbirraveritas (1637) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUN 28, 2017
Bottled, 0.33 l. Colour is clear gold with a medium sized creamy white head on it. Nose of yeast and sugar. Yeasty aroma escorted by bread, hints of florals and citrusses... taste of burnt sugar, maybe some peach, too, mouthfeel is oily. Somewhat short and liqueurique, mild spicy finish...

A szokásos belga trippelek virágos ízvilága köszön vissza benne. Nem tudom, hogy pontosan miért biére de garde a besorolása. Igazi biztonsági játék, amely elsősorban az árával fogott meg.

Tometclo (363) - Paris, FRANCE - JUN 2, 2017
33Cl Lild

Bottle from Lidl. Bargain. Pale gold, thin bubbles, angelic short white top. One dimensional strong ale. Thin, tangy booze, with sticky, cheap white wine feel. Ok, but a low ranking Tripel.

33cl bottle from a gifted 12 pack, and poured into a snifter on 30-Dec-2016. Clear pale amber colour with no head. Aroma of sweet malt, citrus, grain and Belgian yeast. Medium body and carbonation. Taste is sweet. fruity and light. Heavy on citrus and caramel. Bittersweet finish.
