COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, robust in taste and strength (9%) is the tops for flavour. It has a fruity and spicy bouquet, it has a stark taste, between a sharp bitterness and a caramelised flavour. It has no sugar, and this pure malt beer oscillates between various tendencies which all round off the bitterness. It has a peppery taste at the back of the mouth and a sharpness on the tongue. It is active in the mouth and lets each flavour express itself individually. It is very active in the glass which gives it a full, lasting, head. It has a long conclusion and puts emphasis on an ever present bitterness but less supported by the caramel. The final impression is one of gingerbread without sugar.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass; from the fridge. Lots of dried fruits that gives a nice taste, but don't really meet mine.

Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy amber with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, bread, caramel, belgian yeast, little spice, and little sweet dried fruit. Flavor is sweet, malt, bready, caramel, little yeast, toffee, sweet dried fruit, little alcohol. Medium to full body, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. To sweet and a bit overcarbonated. 161017

A little sweet for me. Tons of dried fruits, molasses, big spice and bread, toffee malts. Alcohol is mildly present among the sweet dessert esque profile. Rich fruity notes and deep esters. Robust and heavy with a mild bitterness on the finish. Overall an interesting if not slightly dissapointing brew...

Buonissima. Veramente da intenditori. Aroma intenso. Sapore forte e deciso. Si sente anche nel naso. Ottima ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
