fkoolen (1323) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2016
Bottle at home. Cloudy chestnut colour, creamy and slim offwhite head that leaves a nice lacing. Caramel sweet malty, dried fruity notes dominate, light liquorice and herbal notes: very soft mouthfeel, pleasantly balanced. Low carbonation, good body.

karpik (1348) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - DEC 7, 2016
Peach, spices, apricot, banana in nose. Watch out for a gushing! It pours dark amber with lots of sediment and tall white head. Taste is medium sweet, fruity with peach and apricot notes followed by spices. Low bitter finish, lively carbonation. Overall very good Belgian Strong, however, I did not noticed any "christmas flavours" here.

4.2
Silvan7 (1264) - Samarate, ITALY - DEC 6, 2016
Bottle @ home. Ramata carica, ai limiti del marrone, velata con schiuma beige fine e non molto persistente. Riflessi rosso rubino. Aroma intenso, fine e complesso, da classica strong ale stagionale belga.Frutta rossa sotto spirito, amarene, caramello, toffee, liquirizia, zucchero di canna grezzo cannella e zenzero candito. Poco erbaceo. Gusto lievemente tostato, cacao in polvere, liquirizia, porto, acidulo, quasi piccante ma ovattato il gusto dello zenzero. calda, rotonda, non molto corposa decisamente carbonata (moltissimo per lo stile). Equilibrata e perfettamente armonica.

alteregoo (1683) - Kalisz, POLAND - NOV 13, 2016
Piana dość obfita, nietrwała i brudna. Gushing przy otwieraniu. Barwa rubinowa z brzydkimi pływającymi farfoclami. Aromat bardzo przyjemny, intensywnie rodzynkowy, daktylowy, karmelowy, waniliowy, z ziołowo przyprawowym dopełnieniem. W smaku jest trochę miodowo-winogronowej słodyczy, odrobina morelowej kwaskowatości, sporo przypraw, melasa i lekka, pikantno-cynamonowa goryczka z cierpkim posmakiem. Wysycenie średnie do wysokiego, szczypiące, ładnie schowany alkohol, niby dość pełne choć rzadkie w odbiorze.
Kolejne udane piwo od Abbaye, choć w tym przypadku całość zaburza brzydki wygląd trunku i mniej przemawiający do mnie pikantny finisz całości...
