Bottle 33cl. Pours a dark ruby murky colour with a small head and little carbonation. Very fruity smell, lot’s of sweet fruits there mixed in with some spices and raisins. Taste is also very sweet and fruity, can taste several fruits such as oranges, apples and vaguely some caramel. Very well balanced christmas beer with a good nice warmth when going down.

Classicaly Belgian. Heavy on esters. Fairly low carbonation. Although somewhat more plain than the great Belgians.

Bottle. Gusher. Pours hazy dark ruby with sediment and airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with notes of fruit. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with fruity and hoppy notes. Hints of cinnamon. Estery and malty aftertaste with acidic hints. Decent. Very decent, indeed.

Bottle. BBE date Oct 2016; Drank July 2016 - Red Brown in colour. Average creamy off-white head. Good lacing. Yeasty; heavily sedimented, lots of floaties. Very Malty; toasty malts, caramel, candy sugar, some chocolate. Very Fruity; dark fruits, plums, raisins, prunes, dates, vinous, port-like. Spicy; clove, cinnamon, ginger. Unico voto "negativo" all’aspetto, aveva tanti lieviti in sospensione e sembravano residui di luppolo in sospensione.. Ma in bocca nulla, birra davvero entusiasmante!

33cl bottle at home. Gusher. Dark, murky ruby-brown pour with a tan head. Notes of caramel, toffee, caramelised fruit, dried fruit, light sweet spiced and a bit of metallic bitterness. Medium to full body, tons of sugar in the post-taste, but other than that this beer is exactly what you’d expect to find in a Belgian winter ale.
