Nose of yeast rolls. Huge, explosive head. Pale, murky brown w/ too much yeast. Sweet with notes of bread and fruit. Odd.

This one coudn't wait to be poured after opening the bottle. Classic brown colour with a cappuccino head. The big amount expelled CO2 propelled a very sweet aroma of dark fruits and yeast. Taste is also very sweet as expected, but not so rich or complex. A bit watery too. Very drinkable, alcohol is well hidden. Nice but flatter than the other strong ales I tried from this great brewery.

[email protected], Copenhagen (19/08/2017) - pours hazy amber brown with a beige head. Sweet malty with brown sugar, caramel, dried fruits, yeast, some warming spices into the sweet malty finish.

Barwa ciemnobrązowa, nieprzejrzysta. W aromacie rodzynki i beczka i wyraźne poczucie kwasu. Smak podobnie - kwaśny i nie da się wyczuć w zasadzie żadnych nut smakowych. Alkohol zauważalny dość w przełyku. Ogólnie dramat. Nie dałem rady wypić.

Bottle, 10% at KØ17. Spicy and malty aroma. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small stable frothy white head. The flavour is yeasty, malty, and nicely peppery. Fruity and peppery finish.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Tumbler glass; room-temperature. Woaw. We’re in front of a dark, strong, brown/porter ale. The colour is a beautiful dark brown colour with a creamy beige head. Aroma and taste are full of chocolate, coffee and spices. Really a good beer !

BeerRenter76 (1028) - Texas, USA - MAY 9, 2017
Originally rated on 12/23/2008. Aroma of banana, cherries, caramel, plums, raisins and yeast. Apperance was a nice deep rootbeer brown with plenty of yeast floaters, good carbonation and decent lace. Flavors of fruit at first with the caramel maltiness following, the alcohol was difficult to detect. Flavors constantly change with the warming temperatures. Overall a very nice brew thats worth a try
