COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewer description : A triple fermented golden premium beer, brewed from a unique process using two different yeasts and an old regional secret. This “Bière de Garde” is refermented in bottle and has rich, copious and persistent foam. With it slightly cloudy aspect, Vivat Triple is of a great aromatic complexity. It delivers very good hope bitterness at the finish. It has been rewarded in 2008, by the most prestigious award for food and drinks’ quality in France: Golden medal at the “Concours agricole de Paris”.

Bottle. Golden colour with a nice white head with good duration. Aroma has notes of citrus, yeast, sweet. Flavor is sweet, with notes of citrus, orenage, yeast, marzipam. The final is mild alcoholic witha good duration and an aftertaste moderate bittery.

Silvan7 (1264) - Samarate, ITALY - AUG 27, 2013

Post-tasting bottle sample at Beer & Beyond. Thanks troubles. Cloudy orange, alcoholic and honey in the nose, very sweet and alcoholic in the mouth. Flat, full body, sweet finish. Quite nasty.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks troubles. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Yeasty and fruity aroma with a bit of spiciness and a bit of acetone. Sweetish fruity flavor with yeast, spiciness and alcohol, finishes with a bit of alcohol bitterness.

0.33 l bottle, thanks hanniku! Hazy golden color. Sweet and tart flavor with raspberry, lemon and pepper. Sweet and tart taste with fairly strong raspberry note as well as some honeyish maltiness. Artisanal ale with raspberry dominating.

33cl bottle from Alko. Poured folden with a thick, lacing, beautiful white head. Aroma has yeast, spicy, citrusfruity notes with some barnyardy, funky notes as well. Flavor has barnyard notes, fruits, hops and yeast notes, but also quite a lot of residual sugar, noticeable in the finish. Otherwise a very tasty tripel.

A little hazy yellow beer with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is very mildly yeasty. Quite crispy carbonation yet still relatively soft and round mouth feel. Lots of sweet and yeasty floral notes. Some alcoholic notes but not disturbingly so. Quite a lot better than the Vivat blonde with a lot more solid body and nicer texture and even taste. Quite similar otherwise. This is a big step for the better yet I would hope the aroma would be stronger! Mildness of it drops the points of this one quite much.
