UPDATED: MAY 16, 2015 Bottle from Carrefour Supermarket, Calais, France. This is a hazy straw beer that pours with a huge foamy head. It has sweet cherry and lemon flavours with toffee and malty notes with tart fruit and sugary sweetness followed by a slight spicy, peppery finish. JK54B (1602) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 7, 2013
Slightly sour yeasty nose with some hints of winegar. Pale fast disappearing large head. Hazy golden color. Floating particles. Slightly sweet yeasty taste with lemon and hops. tiong (7277) - Espoo, FINLAND - APR 5, 2013

Pours clear golden with a large foamy head. Aroma of soapy fruits, herbal notes, spices and malts. Taste is smooth, malty, slightly soapy and fruity with hints of herbal hops and spices. Finish is sweetish, spicy and slightly soapy with some yeasty notes. Decent tripel, but the soapy notes are a bit unpleasant.
Overcarbonated, UFO-riddled, metallic orange-copper beer, slowly gushing to huge, dense, ultra-stable off-white head. Alcohol, caramel and sugarnose, smelling rather ’hot’; sharp vegetables/herbs, faintly pickles’ aromas. Bitterish, dry flavour, slightly metallic; bit oxydation (the malts?); probably not very distinctive hops. Sugary sweetness (re)appearing warming up. Hint at sourishness (the ’pickles’ in the nose), but not disturbing. Fizzy, bit ’raw’ taste/feel; medium bodied and slick. Not bad, but there IS a certain doubt, concerning that latent acidity. Pours very pale yellow. Some (chill?)haze. Lots of carbonation and a massive head. Spicy aroma mostly, not much else. Rye-like maltiness, spicy and peppery and also some hops there. Cant believe this is 8,3%!

Hazy honey with big dense creamy white head, good lacing. Looks good. Through head I sense ripe fruits, yeast, bit flower and herbs. Crisp and fruity in mouth, very belgy, medium body, soft feel, long fruity finish, sweet, apples, bit banana, ripe fruits. Good aromatic beer. SperkeleForce (791) - FINLAND - MAR 16, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Pours hazy yellowish with a big lasting mushroom head and a fruity scent. Taste is fruity, yeast, some herbs, citrus and smooth. Not bad. Ensipurasu. mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 6, 2013
Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty – some wheat and sweet aroma, dark fruits and some caramel, light herbal hoppyness and light alcohol. Body is medium to full, malty – some wheat and sweetish flavor, caramel and some fruitiness, light citrus - herbal hoppyness and light alcohol. Finish is average, malty – some wheat and sweetish, some caramel and some fruitiness, light herbal hoppyness and light alcohol. Caramel sweet and fruity tripel – alcohol and hoppyness make finish bit drier. Too sweet and too much caramel for me.

Initially bready, but then very spicy aroma, hard to place, but clearly in the Belgian-triple mould. Very mellow in the mouth, sweet and soft, but crisply carbonated. A hint of something like glue or acetone in the retronasals occasionally, but it passes before you can obsess over it. Body is a classic Belgian strong - bready, spicey, and really not very strong! Finish has some fatty resiny spicy, hops. Covers the alcohol very well, it’s an easier drink than the blonde. It’s a slightly more boring drink than the blond too, lacking the same crispness and magnitude of hoppy bite. Not floral enough to really press my Tripel buttons, and maybe a bit too sweet too. But still, a solid Belgian Tripel. Improves as it warms - spiciness comes out more, and is almost peppery. Poured a mostly clear gold, with a brief head, constant gentle carbonation, not enough to support the head. With a splash of yeast until it’s very hazy, the body becomes grainier and hazier, I can’t say I preferred before or either.
Bottle, 8.3%. Clear deep golden with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, orange peel and spices. Flavour is malt, fruit, yeast, orange peel, spices, medium sweet, little bitter, hop, little liquorice and a little metallic.
