Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a a loose white head. Aroma is nice rustic cereal grains, hay, straw, lemon rind, spicy hop notes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, grassy citrus, cereal grains, honey. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, decent cask condition. Good. Light hop aroma, some fruit on the tongue, which is quite sweet. A gentle hop finish . Stuu666 (14563) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 17, 2016
Cask at cloisters. Pours clear golden, nose is floral, toffee, light citrus, marzipan, taste is sweet, chewy toffee, caramel, spicy, juicy citrus. Not at all what I was expecting. ianwelby (1479) - SCOTLAND - JUL 14, 2016
Clear golden beer with a white head and fruity aroma. Taste is tangy citrus, quite lemony, some bitter hop. I think too much would start to get sickly but it’s nice. Towey1989 (3162) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 12, 2015
Cask at The Congress, Longton. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of butterscotch and toffee initially then fruity malt, honey, some lemon and vanilla. Taste of butterscotch, toffee, honey, vanilla with fruity malt and floral hops in the background. Medium bodied and a smooth texture. A sweetish vanilla, toffee finish. This is weird one, if these flavours were in a stout I would love it. Sweet and only a subtle citrus flavour makes this below average for a golden ale, which is a shame.

Tried at the Threekingham beer festival 2015. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity with spice taste was a touch too sweet for me. jackafholmes (1021) - - JAN 10, 2015
Cask at Devonshire cat, sheffield. Clear pale yellow, sticky white head. Aroma is bread and lemon zest. Taste is quite sweet and mild, a bit vanilla at first, but it grows on you. Tingly carbonation and nice medium body with even some oil. BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - SEP 10, 2014
Hand-pulled cask pint in the newly refurbished Oddfellows, Wellington, Shropshire on 10th sep 2014. Light golden body, clear and bright (almost lager like) with a good white head. Fruity and tasty, semi-sweet with a light malty front, the hops being well suppressed from the start, wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2014
Cask, West Kirby Tap, Wirral. Hazy darkish gold looks with a small white head. Sweet malt nose with vague citrus hop notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavour was sweet and a bit cloying with a rather weak hop profile and some fruitiness. Drinkable but somewhat on the bland and insipid side of the fence. Cask at the Magpie, golden with a faint haze and a thick white foam, hints of peach and banana and peppery hops on the nose, body is very reminiscent of a Belgian abbey tripel, full yet bright malty body, dry bitterness, faint touches of honey, banana and citrus, notable bites of alcohol and dry hoppiness in the finish.
