Thanet Easter Beer Fest. The Winter Gardens, Margate. Amarillo hops, so this succeeds on that alone. Awesome hop! Wow! Lovely fruit surge. One of the best beers of the festival. Very yummy indeed. Doppelganger (1388) - Dry County, Arkansas, USA - JUL 17, 2007
Cask, Turf Tavern, Oxford. Used penny copper with a small sticky layer of fine off-white. Nose of spicy warm tropical places--passionfruit, mangos, cinnamon. Flavor is sun-ripened pink grapefruit, a bit of honeydew mellon finish. A hop centric bitter, but the malt seems to round things out nicely and lowering the frequency of the whole to a satisfying level. (From soprano bitter to an alto bitter.) Very nice. Dark copper coloured. Glorious hoppy aroma with lovely barley, awesome notes of ginger and some slight orange. The Amarillo shows through really well in the flavour with some nice earthy malt and a gloriously bitter finish. Bags of flavour and character, gorgeous spicy notes. Stunning stuff for a 3.8% beer and a top drawer all day drinker drop of English.
Dark orange with fuzzy head, lovely aroma of pineapple, citrus, caramel and a hint of cloves. Good taste, bitter with some fruity sweetness. Very strong taste for such a mild beer. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2009
Cask conditioned gravity dispense Northants BF. A chestnut coloured beer with a really good hoppy nose with a bit of lime jelly. Pretty bitter in the mouth with great hops and citrus flavours. A nice bosy and a really good beer.

Pours a dense black with a two-finger head. Stunning lacing. Well-balanced esthery scent, with notes of tartness and chocolate. Sexy piney palate, with walnuts and corn. Creamy mouthfeel and dry finish. DanielBrown (4500) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 16, 2005
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Brown bitter, with a slim head. Nice crispy hops, good fragrance. The initial hit gives way to a malt mintiness, and quite a long bitterness to finish. Peters out slightly, but still an enjoyable flagon of ale. gowdy (1097) - Erskine, SCOTLAND - SEP 12, 2013
Taste at the Paisley Beer Festival. A darker brown. Not much head. Medium consistency. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2008 Beautifully fruity Turkish delight flavoured hoppy red pint with a hint of strawberry and a crisp parting bitterness. Fragrant, perfumey and packed with flavour and hop tanginess for a 3.9 percenter. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - AUG 25, 2010
Slight malt caramel aroma. Amber colour with a frothy white head. Smooth texture. Sweet caramel flavour with a sweet hop finish.
