A pale beer, made with fabulous Nelson Sauvin hops. Aromas of elderflower and grapes. Strong citrus flavours, especially grapefruit. Long lasting bitter finish. Very refreshing and packed full of flavour.

stravale (3065) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - JUN 18, 2015
Cask @ Closed Shop, Sheffield [110615]
Straw colour, clear, dense white head
Aroma of soft fruits, light sweet caramel, a bit buttery
Taste of light caramel, light grassy hop, getting a touch of butter again
Palate - Medium light body, bit oily, soft sweet, bitter hops. Finish of light grassy bitter hops, more zest in the finish, some dry hop, sweet light caramel,
Overall - Not all that great, maybe iffy condition

Pint from harrisons, Sheffield. Golden ale with perfect bright white shiny head. Aroma is hoppy and sharp, grapefruit and hay dominate. Taste is bitter and dry, refreshing. Nice subtle carbonation giving a silky medium body. Lovely beer, a triumph.

Draft. Pale amber, no real head. Nice fruity aroma. Flavours of tropical fruit, straw, very little malt. Slightly watery, could do with a bit more body, but enjoyable nonetheless.
