A pale beer, made with fabulous Nelson Sauvin hops. Aromas of elderflower and grapes. Strong citrus flavours, especially grapefruit. Long lasting bitter finish. Very refreshing and packed full of flavour.

Cask. Head short white. Citrus aroma. Golden pale colour. Very bitter, honeyed hop taste. Slightly sour aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Usually a really nice pint. But sometimes can be really excellent. Packed with tropical fruit on the nose and heavy grapefruit bitterness in the taste. It could maybe do with being just a tad stronger and closer to its big brother - Absolution - just to give things a bit more balance. But still good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16th June 2012, CAMRA Investors Club AGM: Victoria, Beeston. Hand pulled pint: this pale yellow brew with its thin white head of smooth foam had a citrusy nose and taste; grapefruits came to mind as I supped my way through my second pint of the day. Quiet complicated flavours and tastes with the 4.1% ABV sitting nicely in this well balanced and easy drinking and refreshing beer.

albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2012
On draught at the Newshouse, Nottingham. Biscuit base and citrusy American hops. Just what I like in a beer, and low in alcohol enough to be a session beer. Very good.

niquillis (2689) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2012
On cask at the congress, longton. Pours clear pale gold with a stiff white head. Complex light fruits with a well balanced finish. An excellent golden ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

An absolutely fantastic ale, packed full of flavour, grapefruit, grape and citrus. Long finish, just a class above which I wasn’t expecting.

BeerViking (4712) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 19, 2011
Cask at the Magpie & Crown, pale yellow with a big white fluffy head. Peppery and herby hops on the nose, then a crisp dry hoppy body, light malt body yet with notes of grape and melon. Very dry and hoppy finish with lasting grapefruit bitterness.
