Gravity at Wellington, Brum. A massive smack of elderflower and gooseberry right off, just like a New Zealand S Blanc! Dry, malty, very bittr with mounds of those delicious gooseberry hops and some astringency, this is a rather extreme beer for the UK and a welcome return to form by Abbeydale.

On cask at the Bow Bar. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - citrus and floral. Taste - more of the same. A green stalky note comes through on the finish. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - could drink pints of this. Nay, gallons.
