Cask at Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield on 19th January 2013. Pale gold with thin ring and film. Rich grapefruit hop aroma. Intensely grapefruity in-mouth with buttery malts and some grassiness. Satisfying hoppy and fruity finish. Exquisite. Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 7, 2008
Gravity at Wellington, Brum. A massive smack of elderflower and gooseberry right off, just like a New Zealand S Blanc! Dry, malty, very bittr with mounds of those delicious gooseberry hops and some astringency, this is a rather extreme beer for the UK and a welcome return to form by Abbeydale. imdownthepub (14441) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2008
Cask conditioned at Merton Winter Beer Festival ’08. Pale gold with white head. Big flowery and citrusy flavours on a fairly thin and light base. Lots of drying grapefruit notes, tangy and adding to the bitterness with an overlaid flowery sweetness, I didn’t initially get this as elderflower but once it was pointed out then yes it is very apparant. A very tidy beer. Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAR 7, 2009
Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival, 27th February 2009. Pure yellow colouration. Aroma is 100% fresh hop. Frankly, it’s like chopping a fresh grapefruit in half and then rubbing it all over your face. Fantastic. This is a great, great tasting golden ale. The kind of beer that makes you go back for another the moment you finish the glass. JohnRMurdoch (4825) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - FEB 26, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2012 Cask @ The Bon Accord. Citrus fruit aroma. Very pale yellow colour. Grapefruit & biscuit flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Bright & refreshing.

An absolutely fantastic ale, packed full of flavour, grapefruit, grape and citrus. Long finish, just a class above which I wasn’t expecting. taganaya (39) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2012
Cask at kelham island tavern, Sheffield. Very pale with thin bubbly head. Bright citrus hops, grapefruit, kiwi. Light and uncomplicated, very refreshing. albertane (377) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 1, 2012
On draught at the Newshouse, Nottingham. Biscuit base and citrusy American hops. Just what I like in a beer, and low in alcohol enough to be a session beer. Very good. jackafholmes (1015) - - OCT 25, 2014
Pint from harrisons, Sheffield. Golden ale with perfect bright white shiny head. Aroma is hoppy and sharp, grapefruit and hay dominate. Taste is bitter and dry, refreshing. Nice subtle carbonation giving a silky medium body. Lovely beer, a triumph. harrisoni (18402) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2009
Cask at Bricklayers Arms Yorskhire Festival 09. Pale gold, lasting bubbly white head. Supposed to be sauvignon blanc-y and it is. Nelson Sauvin hops? Getting towards the end of the barrel, so little condition, but the mango/passionfruit is unmistakeable. In top condition, this would be fantastic, rich tropical fruits and drying tangy hop. Just lacks condition.
