Cask at cloisters ... golden amber ... small white head ... soft floralzezty orange ... light yeast nose ... soft orange bitter ... light sopayness ... little harsher than id like
On cask at The Woodman in Shrewsbury. Pale straw, minimal white head. Pretty dry overall, biscuity hints and some citrussy notes. One of their better pales in my opinion. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Criterion Leicester 05/12/12. A straw coloured beer with a bright white head. Zesty lemony notes throughout. Pale malts. A hint of soap in the mouth. Decent bitterness. Needs a bit more body but it’s good as you’d expect from Abbeydale. DruncanVeasey (8260) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 2, 2012
How apt. Fingers too numb to type. Been given the run around by fu**ing eggchasers who seem to commandeer Leicester’s best pubs for their exclusive use on matchdays. Cask, Swan and Rushes, 01/12/12. At least I can actually move my arms in here. Pale green gold with a loose frill of suds. Lemon, grapefruit, shrub, tea and woodland notes. Generous bitterness wrapped in biscuit; some peanut husk. Lime, air freshener, grapefruit aroma. Shampoo licks. Decent but pretty average by Abbeydale’s standards.
