Pours dark reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and hint of smoke. Taste is light to medium sweet, light bitter and light sour with a long slightly sour and roasted finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
On tap at Henriks. It pours a creamy finger thick beige head over a clear dark brown body. Lacings. Lots of roasted malts on the nose, bordering bonfire, with dark dried fruits and blue plums. It’s dry and bitter on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts and bonfire notes in the flavor, some bitterness. Lasting finish. Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the dark brown.
-Carbonation is soft, but drinkabilty is hindered by the clashing specialty malts and tartness.
-Mouthfeel is lean.
-This is the second ABC brew I had on this evening which felt slightly off...

Small creamy beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Roasty perfumy chocolate aroma with mealy wooden notes. Dry, faintly acidic, roasty earthy plastic taste with linoleum and fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dry roasty burnt fruity aftertaste with blackberry and toffee notes. Sooty flavour lingers. On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a deep brown, near-black body with a deep red taint. Nose is licorice, dark chocolate, cold coffee, hints of wood and tar. Taste is burnt sugar, bitter herbs, coffee, hints of smoke, tar and dark chocolate. Light body, almost a bit watery, with a parching, dry mouthfeel and soft to medium carbonation. Tiny shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral and sour, dark malts, chlorine, grass, sour coffee, caramel. Taste is kind of harsh and sour, dark malts, chlorine, sour coffee, soap, grass, cardboard, butterscotch. Longlasting harsh bitterness. Sorry ABC, blame Henrik and the bad tap lines, yet again! And this was even the better one from two glasses, having to argue to getting a new glass for free, while they claimed there was nothing wrong with the beer. Serious pubs beeing proud of sering good beers, empty their tap lines for old beer every day before opening, Henrik don’t....
