A perfectly balanced beer that does not need to be sliced up in different kind of meanings of this and that. This balance is the watermark of ABC brewing.
I see that some do mean that there is somewhat buttery taste. As I see it, this does not stem from diacetyl, which can be an off- flavor when as obvious as in this beer, but from a rather large amount of Crystalmalt. Hence, not an off- flavor. There is a difference between the two and I, personally do not prefer to much diacetyl. But my friends! This is pure and so good! KnutAlbert (6758) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 12, 2013
On tap at Schouskjelleren.
Cola color, fluffy head. Very rich, malty, a little smoke.
Cereals, you really feel the ingredients here. Hops, too, underlining with some dryness to balance and fill in the blanks. A bit too rich, maybe.
The finish leaves a pleasant dry palate. magnuskjensen (14) - - MAR 30, 2013
Pours nice and dark, small beige hea. Aroma is fruity, citrusy from the american hops. Taste is hoppy at first a lot of citrus, distinkt bitterness. Finishes dry and bitter with a nice toasty taste of dark bread.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2013 Courtesy of Mr. Odland himself. Nice dark brown with a ruby hue. Nice low tanned head. Aromas of caramel, rum, toffee, citrusy hops and faint roasted malt. Use of muscovado sugar in tips beer fits very well. Pleasant flavors of citrus, roastyness, caramel, earthy. It was served a bit too cold, bit give it some time to warm up, and it will unlock all the goodness. A good beer indeed. I recommend this all of my friends, and those who have tried it loved it! Dark, dark red colour. Awesome. Great, roasted sweet smell with added hops. Very drinkable, with an added powerful hoppy tail. Sweetness inherent, but dampened by bitterness. RuneStumo (2691) - Haugesund, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2013
24.05.2013. On tap at Henriks øl og vin, Bergen. Aroma is rich malty with lots of sweetness. Bitter with rich malty aroma. Sweet. Lots of malty flavours. Dark malts wit notes of dark bitter chocolate, caramel and some kind of red berries. Aftertaste is creamy with soft dry bitterness and dark malts. A very nice beer! The aroma gives a hint of what’s coming, and the beer doesn’t disappoint. A full, rich and balanced beer, both sweet and bitter. For me, this is a perfect beer to enjoy when stopping by the pub on the way home from work. Not at all boring, still not too demanding on the tongue.
