A good aroma, fruity, nice colour, amber and clear, the head/foam was a little flat...maybe the poaring. This is a beer that is very good. The scary thing is that you drink it like a pilsner because it is so "easy drinking" and forget about the alcohol % :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Back log. Pours dark amber, with a creamy head. Loads of resiny hop notes on the notes. Citrus, caramel and burnt bread. Very smooth and a easy drinker even with the high ABV.

This is a SERIOUS solid beer. This beer has the great roasty maltiness one would expect with an amber, with some of the wonderful hop bit of a hoppier style (IPA). If you’re ever in Bergen, you really need to get this beer.

On tap at Henrik, Bergen. A hazy amber to brown colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving some lacing. Roasted malts, caramel, pine cones and resins in the aroma. Some bread too. Toast, bread hints, roasted malts, pine cones and resin in the flavor, with a nice bitterness. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and pleasantly carbonated, with a lasting finish. Sure a nice one. 151005

Draught. Holy jesus. A hop uppercut! Beautiful amber color and a nice tan head. Loads of hops balanced with a smooth but dry malt profile. Dangerously easy drinker. Very nice!

On tap at Henrik Øl og Vinstove, pours a clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Nose brings out caramel malts and bready malts. Flavour is along the same lines, with caramel malts, resinous hops and bready malts. Robust and well-balanced. Exactly how you do a big imperial red. Excellent.

Draught (backlog). Hazy amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is toffeeish, fruity, some floral notes as well as some alcohol. Flavour is fruity, floral, alcoholic, toffeeish and also some mild soapy notes.

Humalan tuoksu on melko voimakas. Erityisen pehmeä maku ja miellyttävä suutuntuma paistaa heti lävitse. Jälkimaussa on varsin paljon katkeruutta. Kuitenkin tasapainoinen maku, joka kehittyy mielenkiintoisesti alkumausta loppumakuun.

Tap @Beer Hunters
Deep clear amber color, good white head. Sweet fruity aroma, light hoppyness. Medium-bodied. Sweet fruityness, finish has strong bitterness and alcohol. Quite heavy stuff.
