Thank you kermis! 330 ml. bottle sampled. 2010 Vintage. Dark brown, little tanned head. Nose is clear oxidation, herbal, forest & leave oxidation notes mixed with some bark, herbal, licorice base. Body is bit fizzy, clearly showing age. Taste is clear oxidation, oxidized fruit, forest leaves, some bitter plaster, oxidized fruit. Too much oxidation for me but not all bad with some Belgian styling, would have picked this one for a Belgian Ale & not a Porter. That is either age or Klein Duimpje stylings, possibly both. Or just my pallet.

Not sure if this is a different beer or the info was wrong, but the version I tried was labelled as a 9.2% Baltic Porter.
Pours a very dark, almost opaque beer, brown towards burgundy red, more like a quad than a porter, with a nice head. The smell confirms that this is, again, more a quad than a porter. Notes of caramel, dark fruit, strawberry jam, molasses. The taste is very rich and fruity, with strawberry jam and caramel, along with roasted malts, spices and a bit of dark chocolate in the background. A very pleasant drink ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - AUG 10, 2015
A decent, albeit slightly watery porter. Cocoa and molasses and a light caramel backing. Picked up at ABC in DH in 2015. Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - JUN 4, 2015
Black colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, red fruits, raisins, dried dark fruits, caramel. Coffee flavour, cacao, bit sweet, bit bitter, peanuts. Bit thin, very fizzy. Finish chocolate, brown sugar, light porto notes.

Bottle at Epic Sour Tasting 2014 courtesy of iphonephan, thanks! Brown color, thick beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of slightly funky brown bread. Taste is sweet and roasty, but hi carbonation interferes a bit. nimbleprop (8379) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUN 6, 2014
33cl bottle pours a hazy brown with zero head. Oily looking. Nose is nutty with nail polish remover too, prune and candy sugar. Flavor is sweet, candy, nutty, clove, yeast, a little nail polish. Full bodied finish. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 19, 2014
sepia with thin cream. Nutty nose, metallic and creamy with lightly peppery esters. More pepper and wheat, light earth mid with dry, lightly metallic finish. Pleasant and well rounded if simple. solidfunk (8949) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 19, 2014
