Pour alomst black, with a huge foamy light tan head.
Aroma of roasted malts, slight chocolate, slight coffee, black pepper (?). The taste is rather bitter, with some faint sour notes to it. A little strange to me. Average body, with a very fizzy carbonation. kermis (13433) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
Bottle from Deanso. Poured by the brewer with a massive thick tan head and around a centimeter of hazy dark brown goodness. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and fruit. Flavour over moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Pours almost black in color with a tall khaki head. Slight sourness, roasted malt, acidic malt, coffee, and some cocoa powder. The flavor is a bit acidic. Far too much carbonation. Some roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa powder on the palate with a mild bitterness. A hint of earthy hops on the finish. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - SEP 26, 2012
Deep dark brown body with light tan head. Chocolate, cinnemon, dark rum and spices. Active and mouth filling carbonation with pleasantly low alcohol. Still has enough sweetness in the taste though. Well thought out recipe; a bit too spicy, if anything. Nice one. Iphonephan (6988) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - SEP 8, 2012
From a bottle at ABC beer shop. Pours a murky brown with an explosive head. Sweetish aroma. Roasted malt. Short finish.

Bottle @ home. Pitch black opaque color, small to medium sized light brown head. Don’t smell anything, beer might be too cold or I might have a cold. Taste malts, lightly dark and roasted malts, slightly coffee and bitter. A bit flat though. Nothing really wrong but overall a bit flat. Decent carbo, low to medium body. Bottle from ABCBeers, The Hague. Black colour, tanned head. Little smell. The label is really funny, because it shows the mascot of real The Hague. Too bad the beer wasn’t al that outstanding. Taste of dark roasted caramel with bits of licorice. At the end it kinda stood against me.. wich was a shame. Overall just average. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 15, 2011
Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A dark brown beer with a firm, dense, beige head. Roasted malts, coffee, some buttery cocoa hints and a touch of dried fruits on the nose. The flavor has coffee, roasted malts, cocoa and butter, some dried fruits blend in. Full-bodied, a bit heavy on the carbonation. Lasting vegetal, roasted coffee finish. A strange one indeed, not very well crafted either. 110128 fonefan (49305) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2011
