Clear medium to dark brown color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel malt, roasted, leather - coffee. Travlr (25532) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 29, 2014
Bottle at Epic Sour Tasting 2014 courtesy of iphonephan, thanks! Brown color, thick beige head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of slightly funky brown bread. Taste is sweet and roasty, but hi carbonation interferes a bit.

rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 30, 2013
Bottle at the apartment in Utrecht with Chris, Ruth, Jan and Riitta. Thanks to Kermis for bringing this as an extra in a trade. Dark brown beer with a huge beige head. Malty hazelnut aroma, caramel, toffee notes, candy, some raisins. Malty sweetish flavor, chocolate, roasted, cocoa, vanilla, toffee, vinous, floral notes. A bit thin bodied but a decent beer.

yngwie (17102) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 15, 2011
Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A dark brown beer with a firm, dense, beige head. Roasted malts, coffee, some buttery cocoa hints and a touch of dried fruits on the nose. The flavor has coffee, roasted malts, cocoa and butter, some dried fruits blend in. Full-bodied, a bit heavy on the carbonation. Lasting vegetal, roasted coffee finish. A strange one indeed, not very well crafted either. 110128

brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Pours almost black in color with a tall khaki head. Slight sourness, roasted malt, acidic malt, coffee, and some cocoa powder. The flavor is a bit acidic. Far too much carbonation. Some roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa powder on the palate with a mild bitterness. A hint of earthy hops on the finish.

3.4
Dedollewaitor (16234) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 28, 2011
Bottle @ Ulfborg Weekend, Jan 2011. Pours dark brown with a small white head. Nose is dark malts, vague roast and fruit. A bit ashy. Some chocolate. Dry end. Medium bodied. Good.

Benzai (16226) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JAN 30, 2012
Bottle @ home. Pitch black opaque color, small to medium sized light brown head. Don’t smell anything, beer might be too cold or I might have a cold. Taste malts, lightly dark and roasted malts, slightly coffee and bitter. A bit flat though. Nothing really wrong but overall a bit flat. Decent carbo, low to medium body.

3.1
kermis (14205) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2012
