Clear reddish brown colour, beige head. Malty aroma, caramel, older hops, light chocolate. Light sweet, light bitter flavour, chocolate, caramel, raisins. Finish raisins, caramel, bitter hops. Didn’t age too bad for a dark IPA, actually.Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 5, 2015

bottle, traded with someone, but - sorry - I forgot who sent me this :( Deep brown, wlmost black, with resiny hops in the nose. Starting with dark, dark malts and very low sweetness, becoming more and more hoppy. Resiny and slightly fruity hops dominate. MarcoDL (4926) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 1, 2014
Decent Black IPA. It’s all a bit too modest and flat. Could use more hops and roast. jmgreenuk (9449) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a cloudy dark brown with a thin tan head. The aroma is dominated by the yeast. The flavour is medium bitter, yeasty, with a slightly oily, acidic feel to the palate. The bitterness lingers for a while into the aftertaste. A super satisfying beer! worldbeertaste (1805) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2013
Dark cloudy brown with a lasting, thick, tan, sticky, lacy head. Smells of sweet caramel malt, ripe fruit – plum, liquorish and soft spices. Medium thin body. Tastes of sweet liquorish, caramel, yeast, ripe dark fruit, and chocolate. Nice rounded taste that hides the 7.5% incredibly well. Went down easy.

Poured a clear amber with a frothy tan head. Aroma of sweet toasted caramel malt and dark fruit. Medium creamy body, flavour of the aroma, quite sweet with a lingering alcoholic burn. Borresteijn (7053) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2013
33cl Bottle from ABC Beers. Hazy dark brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, ripe fruits like banana and red apples, dark fruits, not very hoppy. Flavour is sweet, malty, fruity, yeast, ripe dark fruits, light hoppy bitter with a hint of liquorice. Light to medium-bodied. A fruity and yeasty Belgian ale in my book. Bottle from ABC Beers. Pours a dark brown, almost black colored beer with a small tanned head. Aroma has chocolate, roast and faint hops. Considering this will be a older bottle, hops have faded. Flavour is good, medium bitter with roasty tones.. no chocolate flavors, some hop appearances.. Nice black IPA.. from The Hague! MaartenRF10 (1950) - Wageningen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 6, 2012

Unclear, dark brown, light beige head. Malty aroma with overripe fruit. Taste like aroma, some rye as well. Rather bitter and dry as well. Good body and carbo.
From a bottle shared with Deanso. Pours a dark cloudy brown. Raisin and toffe aroma. Caramel with a mild hop backbone. Lingering bitter after taste.
