Pours hazy yellow color, white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, bret. Taste is sourish, bret, lemon, orange, really heavy overcarbonated.

Demens (414) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 21, 2017
0,33l bottle. Cloudy gloden-yellow colour with medium lasting but quickly shrinking big foamy white head. Aroma: Cork from a champagne bottle (with quite champagne-like tones) and basement aromas. Taste: Moderate tarty/acidic (champagne) start that evolves into a dry and softly bitter mouthfeel. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Long pleasent bitter and dry finish. I dont understand the low points. It isnt worse than Duvel and the similar ones...

Bottle from Deca and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Somewhere between Duvel and a tripel. Sweetish orange candy peel with a touch of herb. Some bitterness. Yes its fine. Drinkable enough. Hides ABV pretty well. some decent hoppiness.

piscator34 (2493) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 18, 2017
Bottle. Clear pale gold in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of stale coriander, pilsner malt, minerals, and a bit of spicy Belgian yeast. Fairly metallic tasting, with more pilsner malt, white pepper, and sweet lemon. Light bodied. Not great.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a thick white head. Aroma is citrus zest and a little bready, dry, simple but good. Taste is sweeter and a little thinner than expected, citrus, Belgian yeast, okay but not very balanced.

northropfrye (3475) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JAN 19, 2017
Light clear yellow boy, white head. Sweet yeasty aroma, but faint. Taste is sweet, a bit tart, yeasty, watery. A bit thin, tinny and bloating. Abv well masked I guess. Over all, not a great Belgian strong ale.

Pours a hazy yellow. Aromas of yeast, bread, Belgian candy. Similar flavours with a nice balancing bitterness. There is an unpleasant mettalic note to this though.
