This was labeled Pancho’s Pilsner and I don’t think the style description listed above is correct. This was not a blonde ale as it fit the style markers for a true pilsener. I am happy to say this was actually a decent beer as it is very much hit or miss at this brewpub. The aroma was of grassy malts. The color was a clear golden with a good white head. The palate was clean and crisp. The flavor was standard pilsener with a dry finish. The hops balanced it well. There was a slight aftertaste that reminded me of lake water. It must be something with the water PH in this area as I noticed this on some of their other beers. Overall, a vast improvement over the red ale. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JAN 15, 2011
Listed just as the pilsner. Pours a hazy light yellow color with almost no head. Notes of lemon, unbaked bread, yeast, and grains. Little bit of hop presence on the back. Might as well be from a mr beer kit.
