On tap at brewery, poured an amber hue w/ minimal head. Light aroma. Bitter finish. Light bodied, watery mouthfeel. kevinator (2444) - The Colony, Texas, USA - JUL 3, 2013
Crapola. This was labeled Rag’s Red and I’m not sure what the hell it was. First off, the appearance was off-setting. It looked like what rests at the bottom of a fermenter. Dirty sewage color. The aroma was of a fruit sourness. Very little malts and no hops could be detected. The palate was watery with low carbonation. The flavor was sour and like lake water with no hops bitterness and off flavors. I could finish it but never again. Looked like a lack of quality control but based on the other reviews, this appears to be a consistent result.

On tap at the Abilene brewery - Well it certainly wasn’t red. Gold in color, no head and had a fruity taste (apricot?). Something was very wrong about all the house brews at this place.

Listed as rog’s red ale. Pours a brown / orange color with no head. Tastes of rust, biscuits, bran cereal, and earth. Almost no hops. Thin mouthfeel. Trainwreck at cypress street station.
