Uhh, not my bag baby. Poured clear gold with a frothy white head. Nice lacing. Sweet, perfume aroma laden with spun sugar, lemon, and malt. Sparkling mouthfeel, kept the feel light. Taste started off good, but got sickening towards the end of the glass. Lots of corn and crystal malt int he beginning, very nice. Light fruitiness, light sweetness that kept in check. Somehow, it seemed to build up in your mouth, though. Soon, the taste turned into a grape-candy and straw disaster. Its was like the Sam Adams Longshot Grape beer on steroids. The finish was long and sticky, and very unpleasant. If it remained constant in the beginning, I would have really liked this beer. But as it is, no way.
pours a clear rich gold with a medium creamy white head. Light malt aroma. Kind of a different, sweetish taste. A little bitter comes in on the finish and linger. Different, not a bock, but not bad. Beerhunter111 (20337) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JUN 13, 2017
12 fl.oz. bottle from BierPost. A clear golden beer with a huge good lasting off-white head. Strong pale malty aroma, hints of grainy malt, sweet malt. Taste of strong malt, pale malt, mild sweetness, sharp grainy, a bit dry. raymow (1602) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2017
bottled - clear golden color. Not much aroma or flavor at the start. Gets slightly sweet as it warms a bit. Just ok. mjs (7156) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 29, 2017
(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20170429) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramel and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A sweet brew but nothing to do with any bock. jookos (6741) - FINLAND - APR 13, 2017

You’re got to give to Abita for embracing their Florida roots. About every other Bock-type beer in the world has a goat on it. Abita is going to put an alligator on it, goddamnit! Andygator generally looks and smells like your average Doppelbock, although it’s not as dark as most. Pale orange color. Mildly hoppy aroma and sweet grains. I never really took to the flavor. There’s some mildly fruity notes and a strange vanilla/honey sweetness that seems somewhat out-of-place. I didn’t take to this, but it’s worth trying if you like Abita. emdejes (71) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAR 11, 2017

Not too exciting, a little plain, but not bad at all. Excellent for the price though.

Bottle. Opaque amber. Unfiltered. Notes of malt, yeast, wheat, licorice and clove. Sticky alcohol with heavy clove and German yeast. Dry, quick finish. Not bad.
