Light amber with good clarity and a lasting, white head. Aromas are slight bready malt with a dominating cheesy hop aroma. Light toasted flavors supported by a delicate spicy hop bitterness. Medium body, dry finish. Flavors are fine but the aroma is a turn off.

Pours a copper golden with a creamy, antique white head. Bubble gum and sweet citrus nose. Hearty mouthfeel. Flavors follow the nose faithfully. Decent all around beer, especially for long Mardi Gras parades.

Pours clear amber with minimal head. Aroma is yeast esters with hints of malt sweetness. Flavor carries some sweetness to it with notes of apple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared 12 oz. bottle. As Abita Mardi Gras Bock. Hazy pale amber with an off-white head. Aroma and taste of malt, caramel, and bread. Fairly mild. Decent.

Aroma: malty and bready; Appearance: light amber, cloudy, with thin white head; Taste: starts with maltiness of Turbodog but ends with cereal-like, almost pilsner taste; Palate: medium body with long, sweet/cereal finish; Overall: okay for Abita; might drink again if available.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light golden amber color with a large off-white head. The aroma is malt with some citrus. The taste is sweet grain. A nice offering from Abita.

Bottle at home. Bready malts on the nose. Clean malty flavor profile, lagery, crackers, very mild bitterness. Decent helles.

Pours a very clear golden amber color. About two fingers white head. Excellent retention, good lacing. Beautiful.

Aroma is bready, yeasty. Caramel and sweet. Not very aromatic.

Taste is sweet and malty. Almost syrupy. Tastes good, but bland.

Mouthfeel is medium full bodies. Pretty high ABV, but well hidden. Not bitter at all.

Overall, its good. Bocks are among my least favorite styles. This is fairly good. If I were wanting a Bock, I would certainly consider this. So, yes, Id have this again.

Eh, not a good bock. Clearish brown. Bready and oddly spiced bock with some sort of weird off taste. Not my fav.

This has a pretty nice floral/noble hop character but the malt is all kinds of too sweet and weird. Its a bit heavy and sticky on the palate as well. This feels like something of a near miss but its a miss regardless. I cannot recommend this to people who like drinking things that taste really good.
