Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2017 Mix a 6 from Southern View County Market. Not tons flavor going on with this. It is not bad but it floated in between summer hot weather beer and a standard pale ale in flavor and didnt work for me. Serving: Bottle

Pours a very pretty honey golden color. A little darker than most pales. About one finger bone colored head. Good lacing, okay retention.

Aroma is very biscuity. Honey. Some tropical fruit. Caramel. Mild hops. Theres a lot going on here.

Taste is honey and malt. Its mostly sweet. Some bitter hops, but they dont linger. Otherwise taste mostly follows the nose. Smooth, maybe even creamy.

Mouthfeel is medium light bodied. Its quite dry. Only slightly bitter, slightly metallic. But it has a strange mineral aftertaste.

Overall, its okay. Im not sure which style its going for.. Seems like its confused. Eh, I dont think Id buy it again, and I wouldnt recommend it.

Nice golden color -- after that it was a standard pale ale that fades into the woodwork...unmemorable.

Pours clear golden with a foamy head. The aroma is a lush honey/malt. A sweet honey, malt flavour with just a hint of a bitter finish. I really like that but couldnt drink lots.

355ml bottle into glass. BIG malt whack on the nose. Hazy golden beer with solid white head. Flat watery mouthfeel. Theres a subdued hoppiness about, then a grainy bitter finish. A bit lame. Inconsequential.
