12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best by 9/27/2012. Pours hazy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass as well. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, pine, herbal, floral, caramel, honey, and bread. Pretty nice aromas with good strength and balance. Taste of grapefruit, orange, pine, herbal, grass, floral, caramel, bread, and cracker. Lingering notes of citrus, herbal, pine, cracker, and caramel on the finish for a short bit. Good flavor balance; with a good bitterness/malt balance as well. Feels watered down though. Medium carbonation and body; with a nice crisp and smooth mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with pretty much no warming noticed at all after the finish. Extremely easy to drink. Overall this is a nice pale ale. Feels a bit watered down; but still has a good hop and malt flavor profile. An enjoyable offering, very sessionable. berkshirejohn (6588) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 11, 2012
12oz bottle of Abita Restoration Pale Ale from Wegman’s, King of Prussia, PA. Pours a pale gold with a loose white head; fresh hoppy aroma; light and fresh hoppy taste with a touch of citrus, gentle to start but exploding in the mouth; leaving a long dry finish with a touch of sweetness. Very good indeed, perhaps better described as a Light IPA. andrewje41 (4087) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUL 3, 2015
12 oz bottle poured. Listed as Abita Restoration Pale, 5.2%, like the collaboration beer was. Pours a cloudy copper color with a thick foam head. Bottle a couple weeks after is best by date. Sweet tropical orange fruit aroma. Creamy body. Flavor is really hoppy throughout, and tropical. Some tangerine. Tasty hop forward finish. Tasty pale. Good beer here. jsmerig (1656) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 23, 2011

I love this beer and that is something that is a wonder to hear. This beer has a beautiful white head and a delicious light golden colour. I love the taste and it is a very earthy and hippy taste with a small amount of summer taste. I love the super hippy aroma and it has a great lacing. Great beer great history of brewing and great loving of Louisiana.

I was surprised by this beer. I bought it expecting it to be average at best, instead it had a great flavor and reminded me how good of a job Abita does. RuneStumo (2691) - Haugesund, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2012

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper color with a smallish white head. Nose has a little bit of citrus in there. Taste is light and crisp with just a hint of bitterness. Not bad at all. Bork (455) - Rosewood, Georgia, USA - AUG 17, 2014
UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 A very gentle aroma with citrusy and some piney notes dominate. Rather light, a wee bit watery, and softly carbonated.
