I love this beer and that is something that is a wonder to hear. This beer has a beautiful white head and a delicious light golden colour. I love the taste and it is a very earthy and hippy taste with a small amount of summer taste. I love the super hippy aroma and it has a great lacing. Great beer great history of brewing and great loving of Louisiana.

I was surprised by this beer. I bought it expecting it to be average at best, instead it had a great flavor and reminded me how good of a job Abita does. RuneStumo (2696) - Haugesund, NORWAY - OCT 16, 2012
16.10.2012. 0,355l Bottle. Vieux Carre’ Wine and Spirits, New Orleans. @tkk. Golden blonde colour with white head. Nice strong aroma of fruity hops. Malty with medium body. Bitterness is rather fresh and leaves a crisp floral aftertaste. Very nice beer.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2015 Appearance: hazy and rich golden color, big thick creamy head, laces nicely Aroma: hoppy, piney, Taste: hoppy, some grass, some pine, you can also taste the maltiness a bit, nice balance Palate: lively carbonation, bitter/hoppy aftertaste, light mouthfeel Overall: this beer is well balanced, hops is the predominate taste but its not too bitter, you can also taste a little of the malt sweetness, pretty good pale ale maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JAN 15, 2013
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper color with a smallish white head. Nose has a little bit of citrus in there. Taste is light and crisp with just a hint of bitterness. Not bad at all.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 A very gentle aroma with citrusy and some piney notes dominate. Rather light, a wee bit watery, and softly carbonated. kimcgolf (872) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - SEP 5, 2006
This was an odd beer, but one that I actually enjoyed. Poured to a golden color with minimal head, and had no distinct aroma or flavor that I could identify. On the other hand, there was nothing I disliked abvout this beer. It is one of the first I’ve rated that was just a good drinking beer, with little distinguishing features...neither good nor bad. This would make a good session beer. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - NOV 27, 2006

Bottle. Poured a hazy, golden with a medium white head. Nice lacing. Sweet, citrus aroma. Decent mouthfeel. Flavor is malty with a grapefruit kick to it. Nothing fantastic, but a good beer since it supports the New Orleans restoration. HumuloneRed (751) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 14, 2007
From the Beer of the Month Club. 12 oz. Bottle. Pours a clear light copper with a fluffy white head and soapy lacing. It has aroma of floral hops and sweet malt. Flavor is balance with a good malt profile with floral and citus hops. It finishes crisp and clean with a pleasing mouthfeel. Not great but a nice drinkable beer none the less.
