Was not sure of the style when I purchased and did not look at the label closely, but when I openned this there was no doubt that this was a lager. Slightly hazy light golden color with a diminished dense white head. Pale malt nose with a hint of spicy hops. Pale malt flavors, with a light bitterness. A straight forward not pretenses type lager.
De geur lekker fruitig. Niet veel schuimkraag. De smaak is nogal futloos, een tegenvaller. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 13, 2016
Bottle. Light lemon, biscuit malt, and hay aroma. Golden yellow with large head. Golden yellow with large head. Lightly sweet citrus, biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Decent body. A nice lager. Itzjerm (2794) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Very easy drinking malty wheat beer. Well done balanced malt and wheat forward beer. No hop no fruity beer.

355ml bottle. From the bottle, so I can’t comment on the pour. Light cereal malt and grassy/floral hops make up the aroma. Leafy hops up front give way to a light body, with white bread malt and a touch too much sweetness. A reasonable if unexciting lager. highlandlad (1480) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - SEP 12, 2015
A golden Spring day in Australia’s Blue Mountains demands an equally sparkling ale. Alas, this ain’t it. It’s an easy thirst-quencher with a character so slight that I was forgetting it even as I swallowed. What was I writing about again? Oh yeah. Abita Golden poured a hazy gold with a sloppy head. The aroma was so light that my expectations tumbled: faint dishwater lemon, apple peel, grainsack. The mouthfeel was slightly brittle. Over-fizzy and hard. The kind of carbonation you can taste. And there is so little else going on that the carbonation is the dominant flavour. Extremely low bitterness. Corn, pocket change, sweet malts. Can I do something else now? Brilliant, yellow gold with a short-lived fluff of white. Very grainy, dry and raw with sun drenched barley dominating the aroma. Quite thin, watery and slightly soapy on the palate. Pasteurising and filtering shines in this one. Grainy, dry and clappy swallow with light tannins. Low hop, dry roughage and leafy notes but low to no bitterness. Lengthy, gammy honey and sweet malt swallow. Drinkable and just Ok, but flawed. (12fl.Oz, BB 02/12/15, Luckies Liquor, East Vic. Park) AlexCorleone (9) - ITALY - MAR 14, 2015 does not count
A- Pours a yellow and the foam cling fizzles away to a thin ring around the glass as well as light foam covering most of the surface.
S- Smells like green apple, and fresh grains.
T- A hint of wet cardboard. Definitely leans more toward the malts since there are barely any hops to be found.
AT - Good balance at the end. nearbeer (5368) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 12, 2014
12 oz. bottle. Pours clear golden with a lasting ring of film of cream. Nose is buttered popcorn, caramel and a bit of dry grass. Tastes of sweet toasted maize, squash and a bit of dry grass. Medium body is too sweet, but has a nice smooth, low-medium carbonation. madquacker (1138) - Canberra ACT, AUSTRALIA - OCT 5, 2014
Low carbonation and a straw colour that sits over a stewed lolly sweet taste. Quite drinkable in a sweet and rather dull way. rolfc81 (145) - - AUG 26, 2014
Mediocre lighter lager.............................................
