COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Abita Grapefruit Harvest is a brilliant golden IPA with a subtle zest of grapefruit flavor and aroma that enhances the strong hop character. This bright, snappy brew is made with real Louisiana Ruby-Red grapefruits, pale, pilsner and caramel malts and cascade hops. The strong hop profile and subtle zest of grapefruit make it a good choice with grilled chicken. This brew would also pair well with ceviche or raw Louisiana oysters.

I love this beer. Pour is cloudy and yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is full of grapefruit I mean like you have it right in front of you to good. Flavor is like the aroma tons of grapefruit and hops.

Dark yellow, near orange, slightly cloudy with thick, dense white foam. Lots of fruit in the nose, hops and citrus with a touch of sweetness. The hops stand out over the grapefruit, but there is a good compliment in the end. Tends to be a little grassy and bitter in the end.

Pine and grapefruit aroma. Hazy yellow and orange body with a half inch fluffy white head. A pleasantly mild grapefruit taste. Tart but has a clean finish.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and light earth aroma. Ruby grapefruit flavor with light pine. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Ruby grapefruit lingers with light pine.

Pours a golden amber color with big fluffy head. Aromas of citrus, fruit, grass, and the best tropics. Flavors of grapefruit and hops.

On tap at Beer Culture. Golden body with thin head. Nose is floral, grapefruit and fruits. Taste is sweet, bitter. Nice carbonation. Tart in the finish.

beer-yum (1825) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - APR 3, 2016
Restrained aroma in a hazy gold pour. Taste is dominated by the pith of grapefruit skin. While this is to be expected from the label - it is better done/more subtle in other brews (aka. Grapefruit Sculpin).

A lot of IPAs are grapefruity these days, so it’s somewhat surprising to see an IPA more aggressively seeking this label. This beer is anything but aggressssive. It has a soft, sweet grapefruit approach, more like a fruit beer than a hop heavy bitter bomb.

ordybill (1815) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - MAR 4, 2016
Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a nice murky gold with a medium sized white head. The aroma is big on grapefruit, hops and grain. The taste is a nice blend of hops and citrus, really good flavor.

Strong citrus but not overpowering. Almost no alcohol taste. Not very complex due to citrus. Solid. Would buy again. Almost lawnmower beer status. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
