Hmmm. Another fruit beer -- this one has been around a while, too. Doesnt appear that different from a pale lager in the glass. Aroma is convincingly of raspberries, and these smell fresh, as opposed to the syrupy nature of some fruit brews. Also some grains and mustiness. Taste is less pleasing, bright raspberries are in there, but the wheat and the beer taste stale. I miss hops when I drink this.

Considering the rasperry flavour is added after brewing I would expect it to be frutier than it is. Not foul but I cant think why I would buy this beer again.

Somehow, I didnt know this was going to be a fruit beer until I bought it and poured it. My first clue was the color, definitely a light purple tint and (surprise surprise!) a little bit of hazyness. It tastes like berry-berry kix, the kids cereal. Im not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. The raspberries werent overpowering like the Kiriek Lambic I had a while ago, but there also wasnt much flavor overall beyond the raspberry. So, I guess, the jury is still out on this one. If fruit beer is your thing youll probably enjoy this one.

Ice tea or beer? Thats the question. Nice raspberry flavor, but where is the beer? Hardly any sign of the wheat. Nice to drink if you arent looking for a beer.

Pours medium yellow with thin off white to pink head. Definitely has raspberries in the aroma, but low on the wheat character. Flavor also low on the wheat. Raspberry is nice and subtle, but there is also an off flavor as well. Not that good, but you could do much worse.

this is a thin beer, no wheat flavor with very little raspberriness to it. There are so many better fruit beers out there. find them

I really like this beer. Purple Haze is nothing too special, but for what it is, this is an exeptional beer. It is perfect drinking when you want a beer with a fruit flavor, but nothing overpowering. I am not a fan of fruit beers, so I was surprised when I liked it.

The aroma was enticing, but it belied the rather shallow flavor. Good appearance. Smooth finish, again, not as fruity as the aroma would lead one to believe.

A little too sweet for me, seemed artificial, not terrible, but wish it was more tart, not so sweet, Id drink it again, but wouldnt seek it out.
