On tap. Cloudy honey color with maybe a little pink tinge. (Sort of a dark in here for an ideal rating.) Tiny fizz of white head. Aromas of sweet rasberry jam and yeast. Warm yeast flavors with a somewhat rasberry candy finish. That said, it a pretty decent for an easy-going fruity wheat beer. The yeast/wheat flavor is quite nice. It is not a remarkable beer, but it certainly is not as bad as it’s average rating would indicate. ElJefe (553) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAR 2, 2005
Pours a pale, sickly yellow-orange with a small head. Aroma is sour and metallic, flavor is much the same. Weak body, thin mouthfeel. Yuck. Tmoney99 (14501) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 27, 2005
Bottle. Poured cloudy amber with small rocky head. Aroma was wheat with sweet fruit tone and the flavor was much the same with sweet finish. turbo (1271) - Arizona, USA - FEB 25, 2005
Poured a cloudy yellow with a smallish head.
Aroma of raspberry.
Flavor of raspberry and malt.
Not bad for a every so often beer.

Looks like white grapejuice. No head. A Kind of musty smell and that is about it. I have a feeling it will taste a bit like flavored soda water.
Tastes like crap. Not good at all. I have had raspberry beer that is good and this isnt one of them. Tastes like grass and weeds more than fruit. This should be a beer made at Kraftbrau. I cant even drink this thing. Oh well. Next....

Cloudy golden color with a slight purple tint. Aroma a mix of sweet raspberry with a distinct sour/tartness in the background. Flavor is all sweet raspberry. Very weak body. Not a bad representation of an fruit flavored American wheat beer, just not one of my favorite styles. jtxx (149) - san antonio, Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2005
My wife liked this beer....that should have told my I wouldn’t...and I didn’t.
Weak taste with a watered down flavor. Pailhead (6540) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - FEB 7, 2005
Bottle: Weak raspberry aroma. Pours a hazy yellow with a quickly diminishing white head with a pink tint. Flavor is pretty much all raspberry with a light tartness in the backgroun. It’s a little watered down, but still okay. Outside of being a light beer, doesn’t seem to have a lot of wheat characteristics. Not a lot of carbonation. civforprez (229) - Galesburg, Illinois, USA - FEB 7, 2005
Light rasberry hint to this very weak wheat beer. Aroma is nondememo and taste is, well, weak. Palate is smooth, because the beer resembles watered down rasberry iced tea. rajendra82 (1093) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - FEB 5, 2005
Received as a part of the Confederate BIF from BigLove, this beer came is a brown 12 oz. bottle with a psychedelic label. The beer looked cloudy, and fizzy. The head was foamy and left some average lace. The aroma did not emphasize fruit, but instead this smelled more like a yeasty wheat ale with some sour mash. The taste was light with raspberry flavor coming through in a very subtle way. Unfortunately the malt base backing the fruit was very bland and flavorless, which was all the more surprising since the body was not too thin. Hardly any hop presence. I had seen this beer for a while on the shelves and had been avoiding it, since I am not a big fan of fruit beers. This one is not awful, but it won’t change my opinion about the style.
