Well , being originally from New Orleans I tend to want to defend this beer, b/c ive been to their brewery and know people that have worked there, but alas, I agree with the folks in this list... It is a bit of a let down b/c: Yes, it is a little flat. Yes, the berry flavor is too subtle (would rather be drinking a fruit soda pop), Yes, the label is better than the taste. Yes, the finsih has alot to be desired. In conclusion: Get Turbo Dog, for one last try for a decent Abita Brewery Beer. Maybe if everyone sends them our comments, theyll work on the recipe and improve it... LOL

Nothing great about this beer. in fact it is kind of bad. Id rather have a raspberry pop or a regular bee but not this. My sisters bottle had a cap that wasnt put on fully

Not as horrible as the recent entries suggest, but not a great beer by any means. Raspberries are not really evident and the color was a little lighter than I was expecting. A little astringent. Cool label and name, but Jimmy deserves better. Scuse me while I kiss the sky...

On tap. Poured a cloudy golden color with a small head. Nothing too special - aroma and tastes of raspberries and wheat. Light and bland tasting. Ill pass on this in the future.

Bottle. Gold body with no head. Tastes like straw. This tastes like an American Wheat with just a hint of berry. The finish is dirty and gross.

Fruity, sweet, fruity. Not a subtle ok fruitieness, but a strong chick drink fruitiness. Not a fan.

Out of the bottle. Taste similar to Robitussin; perhaps the CF variety. In fact I think used Robitussin to get the flavor out of my mouth. Waiting to taste it on draft. Apparently this is better.

I felt betrayed when I tried this beer. Abita, although not a risk taker, usually produces solid malt beverages. This was so overwhemingly fruited up, I could not finish the bottle.

-Aroma: Very sweet with a punch full of rasberries -Appearance: Very attractive, slightly purple (more like a light red) color -Flavor: Very refreshing with a strong fruity taste and a nice hoppy finish -Palate: Sit a lit harsh on the palate at first due to the high carbonation, but mellows quickly -Overall: Great, fun, refreshing brew
